The goal of my work is catharsis. For me, a piece is successful when I have a sense of spiritual renewal and release of tension.
My conceptual process stems from a private life experience, observation or strong opinion.
I work obsessively with skulls, skeletons, animals, humans and plant life as I have a passionate interest in the natural cycle of life and death.
The technical process includes many digital assets: photographs, antique technical drawings and a personal collections of textures. Many are collected before the onset of a new piece. By using the computer as my primary tool, I can work quickly and allow mistakes to happen. I view it as a symbiotic relationship of man and machine.
When not creating digital art, I am an Associate Creative Director at LBi in their New York office. I have over a decade of professional experience and knowledge in the digital marketing industry spanning three different continents.
